An impressive Cordiform High silver Asyk Pendant, Turkmenistan, Teke Tribe – 1880-1900
Worn originally also as a hair ornament.
The heart-shaped Asyk Pendant is decorated with fine scrollwork, zigzag filigree on its borders and center. Inset with 4 carnelian stones and a large carnelian amulet in the center.
